Just wondering, i know these are used to lower PH but what is the stability with using these? i mean is it hard to keep a stable PH using these? this is for my discus tank.

i used a couple once for my apisto's it stains the water to a tea colour, but once they show signs of wear and tear just replace them

yea im not bothered about the tanning, just wanna know weather or not its too much hastle keeping the ph the same with waterchanges and such, and whether like alot of them against just a few will change the ph, just from what ive read discus will be fine in diff ph's from the 6.5 or whatever people rekon you need to keep them in but aslong as its stable so dont want it to fluctuate all the time, so if its gonna be a case of ive got to get each waterchange to the same ph as the tank and continually keep check on the ph then i wont bother.
