neons, well any active shoaling fish for that matter, will not do well in a tank any less than 60 litres

even a small shoal of 6? ha i know im pushing but it probably my preferred set-up at the moment?

this says neons will do ok in the smaller space?

smaller tanks and a 10G are two very different things, and IMO 10G are only suitable for shrimp, a single betta or a dwarf puffer
that said its your tank so its your choice but IMO 10G is too unstable for neons to survive for any decent length of time.

neons, need a mature open spaced tank, 60 litres minimum, it doesnt matter how many you keep etc 60 litres minimum
