I havent cleaned the algae off because I thought the male had been acting strange. Sorry the pic isnt clear but those brown spots are krib fry He wouldnt let my hand in the tank with out attacking so I would hit a bit at it and quit so i wouldnt stress him out. Now I know why LOL

Yes they are good parents. They wont let anything near those babies...LOL I stuck my hand in to clean the algae off that plate and they corralled the children into the cave and both started pecking at my hand LOL...I left them alone.....
