My lighting is 5 to 6 hours daily, I do not over feed (4 min feeding time) and yet I am still plauged with algae. Are there any fish that can help reduce the amount of algae in my tank? (55 gal : 8 blue johani cichlids)
I have read that high phosphates can also contribute to algae growth, although I have never seen a test kit for that (to be honest have never looked yet).
