Algae

I have brown hairy stuff on my plants both real and fake, I'm assuming it's algae. Does anyone know how I can shift it? I leave the lights on for 6 hours a day. Thanks!

I just do water changes and it goes after a few days?! I learned that off some dodgy website, but it works
