Algae Problem ?

Hi guys got some white rocks in my tank and getting quite alot of brown algae over them and also on parts of the glass any idea on how to clear this up ?

Roughly leave the lights on 12-15 hours per day the odd day maybe forgot to switch them on in morning.

i had this problem so i dont have my light on for more than 10-12 hours. i also leave it off during the day natural light will surfice if the tank is in the right place however to much direct light will give u green algae. i am thinking of trying a day time bulb though(i read they r good)
as for the glass you can buy a magnetic glass cleaner for £4 to £8 they r fantastic and really quick.
a good water change with the right equipment also lifts alot of the mess.
