Hi,

I have a nasty load of algae in one of my tanks. It is a very dark green and has started to cover the rocks, gravel and plants. I'm especially worried about the plants as it smothers their leaves completely.

I have been doing 15% water changes every couple of days and added a Green-X phosphate/nitrate absorber to the filter.

Can anyone help with advice on how to get rid of the algae please?

Cheers,

Gra

:fish: Cut down drastically on feeding and turn the lights off for about 4 days, the plants will cope but the algae should die, Then add lots of floating plants :D
