Hi I am quite concerned because in my tank it is constantly getting a green tinge and I am not sure what to do. I have 4 platys, 1 Tropica Bonsai and a moss ball. Please can someone tell me what I can do?

How long do you have your lights in each day. Is the green tinge algae on the sides of tank or green water?

Algae can be a problem and it can also be your friend. The wrong kind of algae can choke your plants and smother your substrate. The good kinds are a sign of good aquarium maintenance. So the thing to do is familiarize yourself with the various types. You also have to learn what causes algae to flare up. Learn as much as you can about water chemistry because this always comes into play. You have to know these things anyway so you aren't chasing the wrong problem. Algae grows very slowly or it spreads like wildfire. So much to know about algae and sometimes it teaches you painful lessons.

We need some data here. A photo would also help.
