Hi

I have a species tank for my brichardis, recently i have some diatom, and i want to know what can i put in the tank to control this, that won't be kill be brichardis??

Thanks

Apple snails and bristolnoses, seem to do a pretty good job in my tank with the fairies.

I have Nerite snails. They wont multiply in freshwater either so you wont be over run with them.

Diatoms are common in new set ups, how old is this one? But they can reoccur if there is sufficient Ammonia for them to feed on, which is why increasing circulation is a good thing as it will eliminate any 'pockets' of ammonia.

Is a new set, it have about a month, i seed the filter with sponge from my other tanks. I have silica sand for base.
