I'm under the impression that true albino bettas are pretty rare.
On my last trip to petsmart, i was getting some water test strips.... but i always venture over to the bettas just in case i need to come up with an irrational reason to spend money.
surprisingly, on my last trip, there was a red eyed, white bodied, opaque finned betta. he was very young..... i took note of him (ehhem..... obsessed about him). my gf convinced me i didnt need another fish. 2 days later i ventured back there with a subconscious intent to buy him..... he was gone
are there different "blonde" betta variations that i am not aware of? or did a local betta breeder not realize the rarity of the fish, and in turn sold/gave it to petsmart? or am i too into albino bettas?
