Is this a fish that is happy without others of its kind, or does it do best in a small group? Any informed opinions?

I keep hearing that small groups of at least 5 is best. I believe that it also makes them more fun to watch as they do great stuff together

I've noticed more activity in the cories when they are with others of their kind (not necessarily species). It's best to keep them in groups because they get more active and you have better chances of breeding them if that's what you're going for.

Hi Max Action :)

Corys are schooling fish and therefore must be kept in groups. I usually suggest a minimum of 3, but with corys the more there are the better they like it.

Albino corys are usually C. aeneus and get along especially well with bronze corys since they are also C. aeneus, just a color variation.

Corys are great little fish and are perfect community tank citizens. You are sure to enjoy them. :D
