Air Stones

Just A Quick Question Are Air Stones Good For The Tank.. I Red That If you have a filter and it isnt agatating the top of the water then air stones are good for the tank is this true?..

Air stones are not nesessary, you will just be using extra money buying them and using electricity for the air pump to run them. All you need to do is angle your filter outlet towards the surface. You dont need bubbles or turmoil just a gentle movement on the top of the water and you will have enough oxygen for the tank. I have a large 250 L tank and dont use anything other than my filter
