Anyone know of something that would be used as a rigid airline line that could be bent with heat or something? My wife insists that there be a bubble feature. I want to be able to hide the tube. The rubber one keeps coming up out of the gravel. I would also like to also tuck it really tight into the corner going up to the top of the tank.

You could try polyethylene turbine. It is fairly rigid and heat should permanently set a bend.

Agreed, Co2 airline tubing is much more rigid than the normal cheap airline for air pumps and airstones. A bit more expensive for Co2 tubing but better quaility imho anyway.

Also you can get packs of elbows, T junctions, straight collars connectors which should help in setting up the air line exactly the way you would like.

And may be useful for you to have a valve to control how much air / bubbles you want to come out the airstones -

There are all sorts of prices and accessories online for aquarium airline stuff so worth serching around for exactly what you want on your budget as these links are just examples of what is available and to give you ideas.

Oh, forgot to mention, a tip, with co2 tubing being much tougher, you may find it hard to connect the tube to the connections of airstone or pump as its a very tight fit.
Simply putting the end of tube into hot water for a minute or two helps to loosen and make the co2 tube much more flexible thus making it much easier to push the tube onto whichever connections.

Thanks Charlie. I was sure I was missing something. I was tired and posted the question without research. [emoji106]

Glass tubes are pretty fragile tbh.

I broke mine when attempting to connect the airline to the glass U tube I had. (the U tube was for airline to go over the edge of the tank glass, stops it from kinking and blocking air etc)

You can buy little suction cups (transparent) that stick to your tank walls and hold the tubing. I think I got 20 off ebay for about $2 Australian. Doing a quick search just now, you can get 10 for $1.

In my next tank reboot, I am going to secure the airline into the back corner of the tank so it doesn't float to where I don't want it to be. One of these days...

Great idea though. As we just got a 20L. Might try this out. Thanks.
