I bought plants from lfs and it came with little suprises snails I didn't notice em till I say like 50! I got these plants for my 10 gallon for a neon school now its all ruiened the snails are clouding up my water whats a 10 gallon compatable fish that will eat these things?! Please help I've gotta get rid of thses things.

How about this trick I've heard...Put a piece of lettuce in your tank over night, and in the morning, it should be covered in snails, which you then remove.

cucumbers, zucenni, i've heard apple snails like potatoes...if not, go to the store tomorrow. Lettuce is fairly cheap, especially the ice berg type.

how many neons do you have in the tank? and what other fish are already in there?

Also, how long has your tank been running, and what are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate test results?

nothing in tank ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 2 tank running for 5 weeks i just bought plants thats all

I'm not asking about how long the tank has been set up for. Have you been adding ammonia to this tank on a daily basis to provide food for the bacteria?

In case you haven't figured this out yet, no one is going to give you a serious response until we know that the fish going in there will be safe.

I've done al that it is cycled I even bought this cycle tank drop stuff from my lfs
