My black molly delivered fry yesterday evening. Around 30 of them. On purpose was feeding her very frequently in order to ensure some fry are saved from being eaten.

I had already separated the black molly from the other adult fish, about 2-3 days back. And, today morning I put the black molly back to the main tank. This is when the problem started, The other fish were very aggressive towards the black molly. Not only males but also the female fish were going after her. I have only two tubs and currently the secondary tub is occupied by the fry.

Can anyone suggest something that can curb their aggression? Just a few days back they were living in the same pond so peacefully and now, the two males are fighting with each other. The two females are fighting with each other. And the 2 males are also aggressively following the black molly. :-( any suggestions? Thanks!!

The males are probably fighting with each other as to see who will mate with her as she's dropped fry and both males are chasing her as an to try and and mate with her to make sure it's their gene that are passed on, I catch my males chasing certain females all the time in my tank as soon as one starts they all start

Not sure about the female though maybe take your female out/seperate her (that wasn't preg) for a little while then re introduce her
And change the decor around while she's in the naughty corner as might throw her off as everything is different

@basboi85 - Hi, Thanks for your reply, I'm trying to figure out a way if I can create a partition using a net or something. That could help me keep the males away from the black one for a while. But to make it in a custom shape it will add some time so on priority basis I will get some more combamba plant and also add some anacharis plant to the main pond so as to ensure the fish even the adult ones have enough space to hide. I seriously hope that works else the black female molly is going to get completely stressed. In this video you can see how aggressively the two males and are following the black female molly.
