Aggresive Platty

Hi I've a newly cycled 125ltr tank, cycled with 1 male and 2 female plattys. Yesterday I got some new fish including 3 female vegariated? plattys. Thought they'd be ok because they're all females but since I've put them in the original male platty chases them very aggresively. Do you think his behaviour will stop after he gets use to them?, he's quite a bigger than the new ones and I'm worried that he will hurt them. I thought plattys were very placid but mine isn't. Its definitely not 'mating' behaviour, he really charges at them and trys to 'butt' them. Any comments would be most welcome. Thanks you.

It should settle down more woman to chase, he probally showing them who's boss.

Thanks Wilder, you've answered a few of my questions and i value your input, so i'll keep my eye on them and hope they do settle down cos they are lovely little fish and i'd hate to lose them or have to return them. Cheers
