After house move - second tank - what will it be?
After I move, I have decided to get a second tank. It was going to be my first cichlid tank for breeding African cichlids.
However, I have discovered, where I am moving to, the water is slightly acidic, and I would like to try breeding Tetras.
What I discovered, when I tried breeding Neons, and it wasn't so much attempted it, but *hoped* if I bought a big enough group that they would at least attempt to spawn, that it's really difficult and almost impossible in a community tank.
I am thinking of breeding either Ember Tetras, or Gold Tetras.
What are your opinions on this as a second tank and a change of heart from a first attempt at Cichlids to a first proper attempt at breeding tetras and having a tank set up properly to do this?
