Hi guys thnx in advance for takig your time to read this post..

I have just bought my son two ADFs. they are in a 2.2 uk gal tank (2.6 us gal).

Heater and filtration in place.

i was wondering what type of lighting is required, some forums say that lighting is not required. Is this advice right??

Live blood worms.. Is it advisable to add these.. will they cause un wanted bacteria to grow???

If you don't have plants then lighting is not required. I feed mine live bloodworms, brineshrimp and daphinia, as long as you get them from a reliable source you should be ok. Mine will also take frozen foods which is much less likely to come with any nasties. I always get mine from the same shop as I have never had any problems with them.
