African Dwarf Frog

just been googling to no avail and was wondering if anyone can answer any of these:
- Do african dwarf frogs eat shrimp?
- my tank is 24inches tall is this too high to keep dwarf frogs?
- what sort of numbers are these meant to be kept in?
- Are african dwarf frogs suitable to be kept in a community set up with platys, mollies, tetra and guppies?

One problem you will have as I did in a community setup the frogs may struggle to get food due to the others gobbling it up first, you need little surface movement otherwise they will struggle to get to the surface. They probably will eat your shrimp if they are small (amano may get away with as they get to about 2 inches). I would possibly say as a guess 24inches is too deep as they would struggle getting to the surface.

I am sure jenste will possibly correct me as I know they have a lot more knowledge

thanks for the reply I have a lot of rocks that are up to about 12 inches up and plenty of live plants they can use to climb up. I used to keep these before in my much smaller juwel tank many years ago and thought they were amazing and so interesting to watch which is why I got them. I really want them again but I have red cherry shrimp in my tank so was a little worried about these whereas before in my smaller tank I never kept shrimp or snails and it was only about 12 inches high. any advice is appreciated
