African Cichlids

Hello,
I have had fish for many years. I think I'm now ready for new types of fish, African Cichlids. I still like community fish but I would like to have cichlids. I think cichlids are so cool and they look great.
What can I put in my new 29 gallon?
African Cichlids-What kind?
HELP?

29 gallon is a small size for Cichlids, but there are a few which won't grow as much and that will go into your tank.

this link should help you out. Remember once you have made a selection, add them in 2 to 3 at a time. In a 29 gallon your looking at 6-7 max with a very good

Either shelldwellers from lake Tanganyika, Dwarfs from the rivers of West Africa (like kribs) or you have a few choices from the New World. Almost all African rift lake fish should not be kept in a tank so small.
