African Cichlids In A 20g Tank?

okay currently i have a 20g tank with a JD cichlid in it, now I'm realizing i need to get rid of him because its to small so I'm wondering what to put in the tank after he's gone. My wife really likes African cichlids and I'm wondering if any will work in a tank this size thanks.

The tank is too small for most africans but shell dwellers might be an option..this is not a bad article

a colony of multies (shelldwellers) would be bunches of fun to watch and enjoy or a group of ocies, here, found this for you to look thru, make sure you pay attention to aggression issues like with strappersii, they wouldnt work, way too fiesty for the small amount of space. I have a pair in a 48breeder and they RULE the tank, even bullying a big borleyi I've put in there for the time being.
