Advise On Tank Mates For Discus

I'v got a tank with discus in, fairly well planted with some cory's, bleeding hearts, clown loach and plec. I'v got a shoal of Odessa Barbs in a seperate tank and want to put them in with the discus. Is this a good idea, or bad?

hi gary,

what size is your tank? clown loaches should be kept in large groups and in very large tanks! (8ft+!!) i used to keep discus with sterbai corys, cardinal tetras and a queen arabesque pleco. i don't think adding your barbs would be a good idea. I reckon they are too boisterous for the discus who can be easily stressed.

Its a 4ft tank. Kind of thought that might be the case but just want them out my other tank.
