I don't agree with keeping BN's in with Malawis because of the PH difference. Malawis tend to be 8 and higher whereas BN's prefer 5.8-7.2. I know they are hardy fish but I'd prefer to keep them in water that is more suited to them.
You also need to provide bogwood if you are keeping a Bristlenose.

the tank is still cycling as I say im preparing the tank and doing research,im buying rock as i see it.The tank does have mature media in it so shudnt take long.Best things come to those who wait eh
