hi im looking to upgrade my 22 gallon 3 ft tank to a bigger/more gallon tank my question is i do like the look of a trigon 190 and it would fit perfevt in my corner of my living room but do any other forum members recomend any other tanks that come with astand that would suit my current fish??? im just asking as id rather ask few more members on what they think thanks in advance joe

I like the idea of corner tanks.. its a good use of room. But, for me personally (and it comes down to personal taste), i dont like the distortion that the corner tanks have, it takes away some of the viewing pleasure for me.

I would have a think about the filtration you are looking for, and the light requirements for tank, depending on if you want many plants. I bought a Rio180, and whilst i am pleased with the tank, and the stand, it comes with lighting that would need to be upgraded if i wanted more higher light plants, and an internal filter. The internal filter isnt that bad, and i find it easier to use that the fluval plus 2 (which falls off the holder now and then, and requires more fiddling to get at the sponges), but i may look for an external eheim filter in the future. Perhaps i should have gone for a tank without the internal filter and bought an external one up front and saved myself some money in the long run. But.. i bought the tank before spending more time on here to fully understand it.. and my local LFS tried to flog me a £180 eheim external filter for a 180 litre tank.. where people like bloozoo have spent a fraction of that on eheim 2224 and had great results..

As they say, its horses for courses, but im just trying to help with some of the considerations for you.

Just my 2p...

 I couldn't agree more Squid. All of your points raised I agree with completely.

But as you say "it's horses for courses" and loads of people love their corner tanks :)
