Advice On Max Stocking Please

i currently have in my fluval 4 foot 240L -

2 large angels
6 platys
3 polka dot loach
4 gold stripe corys
2 medium angels
2 rock shrimp
some cherry shrimp + 4 amano shrimp (not sure how many left as since adding my angels i havent seen any.... so may not have any!)

and i have on order should be here next week -


2 gold stripe corys
2 green stripe corys

and in qt tank possibly to put back in -

1 large angel (been put in qt due to its bullying nature and battering 1 of the other angels....)

i am running 2 externals on the tank which are eheim 2215 classic and a rena xp3 both of which would be capable of filtering the tank on there own. ive used 2 so i can have a larger stocking, i know i dont want to go overboard but wanted to add 4/5 angels and with them growing to 6 inches each i would have gone over the recommended limit. also the tank doesnt look crammed as i have quite a lot of bottom feeders that dont produce a massive amount of waste.
my working out shows that currently i have about 49 inches of fish (if my maths are right) excluding the shrimp, and on order is another 16 inches of fish and in qt tank another 6 inches making a total of 72 + what ever shrimp are left......
is this ok? or too much?

just wanted to add that if i can find a suitable home for the single bandit cory then i will as he is /seems happy but would be better off with more of his own kind. so if i can catch him/her and anybody can offer a good home then its yours... no postage though, collection only please.

although that size tanks is enough, due to there aggressive nature you might not be able o keep them together.

also are you purchasing them online, if so where from?

if everything goes in i have -
9 corys - but 1 is going to a friend so make that 8 corys
3 loach
6 platys
5 angels
some shrimp

at the minute everything gets on ok no probs there, since removing 1 angel who wasa bully...........
the fish ordered are of the internet 2 angels from a breeder and 4 corys from corys 4 u that should be here tomorrow all being well!!!!!!!!!!! (see seperate topic)
which do you think wont get on?

i got 2 and they just fought, so i got another abd the original 2 still fought. it got quite bad so i removed the bully angel to my qt tank. ive been warned that 2 is a bad number for angels so i ordered 2 more from breeder. i know if 2 pair off then i could have a small riot on my hands but i can cross that bridge when/if it happens. i was going to reintroduce the bully angel when/if all is happy after adding the 2 new fish to see how it goes! if hes no better then he will go back to lfs or privately.

im unsure as i have 2 externals running but dont want to over do it
