Advice On Frozen Food

I ordered some frozen food from the web (lobster eggs and cyclops). Rather naively I assumed it would be sent guarranteed next day delivery - it wasn't it was sent first class, posted on monday and only received today. So needless to say it has completely thawed out.

I guess in this weather it is unlikely to have gotten heated up, do you think it would be ok just to refreeze? Of course I keep telling myself that fish have no problems eating dead fish and I'm sure not all food is that fresh in the wild so this shouldn't be a problem!!

Don't shoot me for saying this but I have a greedy angel fish who will eat directly out of a pippette, so I though I might just feed him some first and wait a couple of days and see if he is ok before general use, unless you guys tell me that it should be thrown out??? It cost too much money to just throw out if it doesn't need to be!

What numpties! That's a difficult one. I don't know if I'd use them but I suppose if I'd paid a lot of money I might be tempted to have a go!

Hmm that's a tuff one! It sounds like the food as only been unthawed for about a day and depending on were it came from and were you live it shouldn't have gotting very hot. If I was you I would just refreeze it and go ahead and use it. I wouldn't buy from that company again though

Glasgow to kent..........couldn't be further! I think I'll try the angel first - I'd rather test it on that greedy boy than risk my whole tank!
