Advice On Cae Wranglin'?

As the title says - anyone have any tried and true methods of snagging these quick little buggers?

Remove a fair bit of water (keep it though) and use 2 nets

Like Doresy suggested, you are best using two nets.

i was coming in here to answer that queston by saying drop the water level and use two nets lol already covered. only other thing i would say is make sure at least one of the nets is large ish. if you are trying to catch it with one net that isnt all that much bigger than the fish, you have very little chance with something like a CAE

I had to move mine from my 10 gal to my mom's 30 gal. I waited for him to go into his little cave that he always hides in and then put a net at one entrance and poked my finger in the other end. he shot straight out and into the net. Of course this was after about 30 mins of trying to catch him while he zipped around the tank and destroyed half my plants haha
