Advice Before Purchase

That looks like a female gourami not a male. Still I'd be cautious about mixing with a dwarf gourami but not as bolshy as a male would be.

Jusr re-read and seen that it's not a pic of your fish - sorry!

ive got 5 gouramis in my 25g 2 opaline 1male 1 female 1 golden male and 2 honey gouramis 1 male 1 female, there is a bit of bickering between them but not enough to leave any marks and i have amozon swords in the tank so plenty of hiding places but all of them are out in the main swimming area,
the weird thing with mine is that the female honey grazes on the male opalines body but he has no marks

If no one has mentioned yet.. both your gouramis are the same species (Trichogaster trichopterus), just different colour morphs. With fish like that, it is all about individual temperament and usually better to aim for females only :)
