Hi all I have a juwel 240 and about to add some new fish like cherry barbs I currently have.

A pair of dwarf gourami
6 shortfin danio
6 cory
3 ottos

And wondering if cherry barbs wil be ok in the tank. And will I be overstocked. Any help would be much appreciated

Cherry Barbs should suit that tank stocking fine, you could easily add 8-10.

In terms of total numbers (8-10), you could easily do this for all your other social fish (danios; corydoras; otos) or at least boost the otos.

Hopefully the corydoras are all one type? Hopefully they are not Peppered or Three-lined, as these would do better in a cooler tank than Dwarf Gourami.

Shortfin Danios, what are they when they are at home... Zebra Danios? These are temperate fish, that would be a decent match for Peppered/3-lined Corydoras in a heaterless tank, but there are other species that do better around 22/23C such as Giant Danios (which are water current junkies, unlike your gourami).

And finally, Otos are rather social and will school when in decent numbers...
