Could i add a new filter to my already cycled tank, obviously still using the cycled filter aswell? That would be two filters in the same tank.
I have just bought a 20 gallon and already have a 10 gallon set up so i will be moving my new filter to the 20 gallon once its cycled. I'm unsure on the current but the new filter has an adjustable switch which alters the power of the water, which is on a low power.yes, you can do thisit increases the amount of media and gives you a backup incase one fails
what current have you got and what future are you thinking?
Sure here's a link of my 20 gallon, and two pics of the two filters together:can you upload a picture?

yeah, i dont see much problem... normally you would want to line them up side by side, then point the outflow of the one furthest away from the wall to join up with the flow from the inside filter
if you find the flow is too much, then just pop the other filter over the other side of the tank and point it in towards the filter in the opposite corner![]()
