Hi, I need to add more sand to my 180litre setup. Its been running fine now for nearly a year but my sand isnt deep enough for my plants to grow easily. What is the best way to go about this without creating problems i.e harming my fish or filter ect.
Thankyou.

What kind of plants are you trying to grow in sand?

Make sure the sand is really, really well washed.

Then pile it into something like an old margarine or ice cream container, or a jug. Lower it to the bottom of the tank and tip it out :)
