Adding Heater

Currently my new 40 gallon goldfish tank is unheated. However the cold waters make the air too damp and cool, which is not good for my health. So I'm going to get a heater and raise the temperature up. What temperature do you suggest?

You say it is unheated - what temperature is it at. Should be the same as room temp?.? Why did you want to raise it? I'm unclear...

yes, if your house is the right temp, no need for a heater
