Hi guys

A very quick question.

Tank has arrived!!!! Busy setting up.

Nutrafin Aqua Plus - it says add 5ml per 38 lts to remove chlorine and 10ml per 38 lts to remove chloramine

Now I know we need to remove both so do I add 15ml to get rid of both?

I know its probably a daft question but was expecting it just to tell me how much to add to get rid of everything I need to and want to make sure I dont put too much doze in. (for all I know the 10ml to remove chloramine might be enough to remove both given its double the doze for chlorine)

you cant overdose realisticly on dechlorinators, its perfectly safe so no need to worry

id do 15ml

your better being safe than sorry.

but the answer to your Q is it means 10ml

10ml will be sufficient to remove both.

Once your Aqua Plus runs out, you should look into using pond dechlorinator instead. Same stuff, just more concentrated so you use less and much cheaper.

BTT :good:

Ruby, the chloramine dose is in case you have chloramine. If you only have chlorine, it won't take as much, thus the 5 ml. If you don't know, the 10 ml would be the right choice to make as BTT recommended. The slight overdose if you only have chlorine won't hurt anything.
There is nothing daft about asking a question when you don't know the answer. It would be daft not to.
