Hi guys

I've been mooching around this forum for a few days and I have to say it is one of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever come across on any subject.

You have all inspired me to try a planted tank and I have recently stripped down and cleaned a very old and neglected 30g tank. However, it is a bit passed it's best, glass is very scratched and oak tank surround is getting warped and cracked so it will just be used as a normal, easy to maintain community type affair. Thought I'd try a nano in the new year once I've had a chance to absorb all the fantastic information on this forum.

Quick question, I have e-mailed ADA in Japan to try and get a copy of their catalog. I have just recived a reply but they are asking for my credit card details which I am not about to send via e-mail. Before I reply to them, I just thought I'd check how any you who have this managed to get it? If it was from Japan, how did you pay for the postage.

Credit card details over the email - it's the only way. Do not use a debit card as there is no protection financially (where as there is with credit card)

Oh, OK. I guess I'll just have be a bit more trusting! I guess using a nearly maxed out card will limit any potemtial damage. Thanks!

Yeh I sent mine over email, not hugely keen but I think it'll be worth the risk, the catalogue is meant to awe inspiring.

Its free from ADA, you just pay the postage, same with AE

Buggar, I wish i had known that a little earlier, Just sent for my first order off them for the EI stuff. Maybe i will have to have another shopping spree

The AE site just says to contact ADA in Japan and gives an e-mail address.

E-mailed them on 12th got a reply on the 13th. Have taken a deep breath and reluctantly sent credit card details so will just have to sit and wait now.

I emailed ADA Japan asking for the catolog, I gave my details Credit card adress etc but have had no reply.
Im hoping that because I gave a precise email there was no need fro them to reply and the catolog is in post.
