Active Fish

Ello all, I am having to give up my mollies (which i loved coz they were active!) for something else.

I'm looking for any fish that are really active and not boring! Top Middle or Bottom dweller not fussy

Tank size 55 gallons
PH 7.7
Water Hardness 18 (going to make it to about 10)
Amonia 0
nitrite 0.25
nitrate (fish shop said low)
temp 78

in the tank. Clown loach and Black Tetra (need to buy more of each)

If you liked the mollies' personality (as who wouldn't!), the obvious choice would seem to be some other livebearer, like platies or swordtails. Of these, swordtails are more hectic, whizz around lot and more highly sexed (you only want one male swordtail per tank), while the platies bumble around a bit more. These are the sort of fish that will come rushing to the front glass when you enter the room. Greedy pigs and therefore easily tamed. My platies eat out of my hand.

Almost any of the danios- I have never been able to get a clear pic of my chopraes or roseus because they never stop moving.

Definitely considering some platy's, I heard they like to eat out of your hand. Maybe a couple of the sunbursts, they have a lovely colour!
