i heard the ACI ii ( Tanxania ) are a rare specie in australia? and we can get $5 for fry and $50 or more for adults, is this true?


please let me know all the info you know about this fish. thanks

from what I've found in 4 searches there are posts on AU forums selling adults for $20 ...

okay i have been offer`d a colony of six, 2 males 4 females for $120 so that is $20 a fish, whoever the person i am buying them of claims he can sell them at $5 each at fry and $50 at adults, would use beleive this or know its true?
as i am going to be breeding these fish!

I'd ask him where is sells them to get that price, then ask around to verify. The price of fish is all about supply and demand, and can vary greatly depending on your location. So ask around your local area, cichlid clubs, and AU forums to see what people are willing to pay for them.

That sounds an awful lot for this species but i know our Australian friends have to pay a lot for their fish - like the guys have already said, check out prices elsewhere in your area to get an idea of whether the price is fair or not.

yeah they are Aceii Tanzania, , i have now got these fish , they have a blue/black body and there tail fins are a orange/yellowy colour, i have a breeding colony of 6, can someone please a little about these species? i have 2 females /4 males

my fish seem to be more black and dark blue would this becase they are older?
