Acara Tankmates..

Heya guys, was wondering if anyone could give me a list of blue Acara tankmates? Currently in a 55g, probably moving to a 150g, depends what I get to go with her. Morgan's only a couple of inches long at the mo, and she lives with a rainbow shark.

I read somewhere that can live with angels?

well if you get the 150, tankmates are quite open, more depends on what you think you would like. any species out there that really peak your interest?

I originally got the Acara as a tankmate for my Oscar, but I lost my Oscar yesterday (gravel lodged in his throat) so am just looking around for other options, I adored my O, just not sure if I want to get another one. So was just wondering if anyone could give me a list of what Acaras can go with, all I can find on the net is that they are peaceful and go with most large american cichlids, not really helpful.

Do they go with Angel fish? I might get an angel to go with her...

Should/could be ok with an angel.

A severum or festivum might also be an option.

i must say my Acara lives with every one. there were some problems at first, the Acara took a dislike to a silver dollar. but apart from that she is a pussycat.

Angels, Firemouth, Silver Dolars, Rainbow, gurami, RTS, usd cat, Feather fin synos, Cory, Bolivian Rams, CAE and a Silver Shark all live well togehter, well in my tank anyway.
