ACA 2005 Cichlid Convention

We went to the convention today and I gotta tell ya, people love discus There were tons of them, but it was a really awesome show. Unfortunately I didn't get to go to any seminars since my kiddo was with me, but anyway, I'm going back Sunday for the auction
I put a silent bid in on a red devil juvie And I bought a little candy striped pleco
Anyhoo, I don't know what all of these cichlids are so, don't ask me! ) But I thought you guys might like a looksie.

No, I don't have anything to enter. I was kinda wondering about that anyway, and I'll ask Sunday, but I wonder if you have to be the breeder to enter, like betta shows.

Nice pictures. That painted tank idea is actually pretty clever. Especially for tanks that are kept bare-bottom. Easy to clean, but still pleasing to look at. Hmmm, maybe a project for the fall.................... Have a lizard tank that I could do that to too.............

I know, I really loved that. It's so gorgeous!
Kiddo liked it more than I expected. This morning when I told her we were going she didn't want to and I told her I didn't want to do the things she wanted to do today either then, so she grudgingly came. I had to pry her out of there though and insist that Sunday will be "work" day and she wouldn't want to come back

wuvmybetta, i have the same pleco, and i think they are awesome. He loves the wood i have in the tank, and only comes out when their is food or he cant see me, so i gotta b sneaky around him

nice colors on him
