Hey bud, A lot of animals live differently and do other things in the wild but they dont have 4 glass walls around them, take my reptiles for instance they hunt naturally in the wild but we hand feed them in captivity, is this wrong??? thered be a few hundred thousand herpetologists that would argue if you said yes, and apart from that you see how these creatures are in the wild is completly different from captivity yet equally if not more healthy
These are natures creatures and will not all live and survive in the same way, if theres one thing evolution has taught us, Our Living world adapts and evolves. To add to this the colour and activeness my clown has advanced in since coming out of a school is unreal.

Who'd have thought it hey 200 years back that you could ever possibly imagine the cruelty of keeping sharks in huge tanks, or Crocs in man made set ups. I think its a case of one mans poison is another mans medicine.

Well many people remove the claws of their pets, even though it is very unnatural and harmful to the animal. Cats feel unsecure and lose their vitality very soon after the operation. If you knew that it is harmful to the cat to remove its claws would you do it?

Just another thought, I don't mean to offend anybody or nothing like that. I just feel that subjects like these are important to discuss.

well no, in this country that kind of practice isnt heard of. Mainly with domestic animals in this country its the docking of tails.

No offence taken really, its great to have a difference of opinion. and i appreciate your views as does everyone. I do admit when my first clown loach died, i never got round to getting another one but the improvement in the one i have is way beyond noticeable, and for a strange reason it seems to have found a companion in my red tail, they seem to be inseperable.

Well it is probably strictly forbidden in the whole Europe in here all cosmetic mutilation of pets is illegal.I just thought that extreme examples work better .
