Anyone know of a small completely freshwater goby species? Ive got 2 smaller tanks with no inhabitants! And i always love how gobies fly around the ground and perch on rocks and such...

I had bumblebee gobies in fresh but i have been told they are brackish, contradicting other things ive heard...

There is a freshwater species of the Bumble Bee Goby, there are a few others too, just google freshwater gobies.

Yeah, i believe IMO the slightly more broken up coloured ones are generally the fresh ones

Oh and yeah, i really enjoyed them, great little things

There are peacock gobies. I have 3 and they are just beautiful. Heres a pic of my first one, when it was only him. He's grown a bit and colored up really nicely, but hes still a bit pale in this picture

My lfs, I'm not sure but I think its easy to get them. I'm always iffy with online ordering with live fish because you can't see their condition. Also shipping costs are through the roof @.@

your best bet (and this is what I did) is find a group of shops you like/trust and see if they can order them for you. You don't have to buy them, if you dont like them either which is a plus IMO

There are this cool species called stiphon gobies. i keep meaning to get some but my lfs is always sold out.

Tank size not fish size lol, theyre small so they dont require big tanks, i dont recommend keeping manu fish in anything less than a 10g
