At Poulnabrone Dolmen in the Burren Co. Clare.

This Dolmen is roughly 5,800 years old and is one of the most photographed structures in Ireland. A few more cant do any harm!

I spent 2 hours here enjoying the evening and the sunset and met some really nice tourists who were genuinely interested in the monument, I suppose you have to be to be here at 10pm!

That middle one looks like something out of a Legend of Zelda game!
 You play Legend Of Zelda? How childish :p Not that I blame you, they're good games. Looovely pics though

my 21 year-old roomate constantly plays Zelda games. she has this cycle where she starts with Ocarina of Time, then plays Windwaker twice, starts The Legend of Zelda but abandons it for OOT when she gets about halfway through. About every 5 cycles she plays Majora's Mask. Fortunately, I both enjoy watching video games (they're just movies where you can heckle the director) and very rarely watch TV because I'm always here when the good shows are on.

that bit of swirl over the monument in pic#2 is still really cool though. excellent job of capturing the moment.

Thanks folks, glad you like em. It was definitely worth the wait for the sunset, I had been here for sunrise before but missed it due to flat tyre!

Cat: Do you mean this one? http://cianmcliam.smugmug.com/gallery/3453...18842248/Medium

BTW We used to play Zelda on the Nintendo (really old one) in college, spent many a night playing into the wee hours!
