Every Thursday, my family has a Bible study, and one of the people who attends is also a fishkeeper. He's amazing. He must be around 70 years old and has been keeping fish since he was 8 and he has the most valuable advice and interesting stories to tell about fish. Anyway, this week, he came over and of course had to see my new six day old fry, my first batch ever. And while we were sitting together chattering back and forth and getting all worked up, his wife told me why she didn't like fish so much anymore. Apparently, when their first child was born, he came to visit her in the hospital on the first day, and, as his wife says, instead of asking how she felt or looking at the child, the first thing he did was tell her how excited he was, not because of his new child, but because his black molly had given birth that night!!!!
I mean, only someone who really loves fish could have an experience like that. Everyone was laughing so hard (except for his wife, of course).
Just thought that'd be a funny story to tell and wondered if anyone else has any weird and wonderful stories like that.
