Is their anything I could use insted of an bredder net for the time being?

Are we supposed to use ESP to know what this is in relation to? Let me put on my vital information glasses... ... No, that has not done it, must need a new pair!

storage box with a spare heater and bubble stone would be okay

I mean I have fry in my tank I want to take half out an try an grow them my self an let the parents raise the other half, but I haven't got a breeder net is their any household item I could use for the time being an I haven't got another filter or heater

Use the lid to an API master test kit, washed out and floated in the tank with an oxygen tablet, and do daily 95% changes

Microwave tub floating in tank will work, change some water twice daily. Feed sparingly until you get chance to use a breeding net.

I don't understand why you want to leave half for the parents to raise and raise the rest yourself? Surely the parents will only eat them?

What species fry are we talking about? Kribs and Steatocranus spp. for example are excellent parents, too excellent for any less than robust species in a typical 4-foot or less.

Breeder nets don't automatically have to be for fry Noah ark6, I've recent used one as a "naughty spot" for an over-aggressive Steatocranus tinanti young male, plus as a quick-fix hospital/retreat for a badly nipped Rainbow Congo tetra. The more information a thread maker gives in their opening post, the safer are more relevent a reply will be.
