well I had thought that my newest honey dwarf was a female ( brown lateral line at the time). well I was wrong. the lateral line is gone, its throat black and bubble nest in the making

the two have started to interact differently (the occasional back rub, happy dance, ect.)

the problem is I added a male blue ram a few weeks ago. hes by himelf and has been ignoring them.

the tank is heavily planted, lots of hiding places , the works.

will the gauramis breeding activities agitate agressivenes in the ram.

can the male gauramis hold his own and vice versa?

I'm afraid things could get ugly if the male gauarmi starts acting the way my last male had

thanks in advance

Was your last gourami also a honey?

You should have no trouble concerning the honey with the ram but some of the other fish 9such as the female) might get chased or bullied.

If things get out of hand, increase the water flow or destroy the bubblenest yourself.
