Hi!
I'm enjoying myself in Miami, the weather is awesome. Well, my mom suprised me with a 36g corner tank that will present some challenges. The tank is a bow-front, with only 3 sides. It is 21 inches deep. I figured to get around 3 WPG, I will have to go for T5 compact florescents, two, 65 W lamps ought to do the trick. I have seen places where they sell them as one unit, and each section has it's own switch. I was wondering if one could control each section with a timer? I think it'll be a nice system once it's set-up. I'm planning a Dutch aquarium where the plants are all from Asia (Mostly India and Indonesia). CO2, Fert. dosing, the works.
I also dug up my 20high, and it looks great. That one, I think will be easier to light. Planning to go nearly 4WPG on this one, and plan on a South American Dutch Style Endler's habitat. I will try Cabomba again.
All in all, I'm pretty excited and will take a long time to plan each aquarium and get the necessary supplies. I could post this at plants, but I wasn't sure since this is not an emergency. I just wanted to share and get some useful links out of everyone. My computer in FL doesn't have all my useful pet supply, aquarium supply, and live-plant supply links, and to do a dial-up search would take me forever and a day. So I thought my friends here at TFF would help me out and give me some US-based links.
