Hi.

When you go to your LFS to buy some betta food i bet a good amount of you betta keepers will buy the betta pellets from hikari wont you?
Well to save you alot of money i have tried mine on TETRA PRIMA, you add one small granual to the tank/trap and the fish will eat it. they are made for discus so you get a load of them in one pot (a good 5.000+) so you will get a nice omount of fish food at less of the cost and more of the food. It is high protien so your fish will grow fast and get as much colour as it would with betta pellets.

Hope this little money saving tip helps you guys out.

What?

I'll stick by Hikari forever. Although I do like the idea of saving money, there are certain things I won't skimp on and Hikari is tried and true.

I have one picky betta, I tried tetra prima and he simply watched it fall to the floor of the tank n look out at me as if too say "ahem and what do u call that and what do u expect me too do wih it?" lol!!!
