A Little Update On Kai

Kai has settled in well. He still has trouble catching his food, no matter what I feed him but he does get it eventually - he's like an old man, takes him until his next meal to catch all the food and I was finding it sunk through the glass nuggets in the bottom of the bowl, so I just removed them completely which will give him a much better chance of getting it all!! He's so beautiful and sitting on my kitchen sideboard just watches me whatever I do. He still has a very stroppy attitude but he knows who I am and doesn't bite the hand that feeds him, so to speak. I'm so glad I didn't give up on him.

Here's some pics! I'm mesmerised by him! He has so many facets to his finnage. Sometimes I think he has butterfly, then I think marble, but one thing's for sure, he isn't just yellow, he's a shimmering pink (with pale blues and lilacs) and also lots of black in him.

Aww man, I don't think Kai is up to it really. He is beautiful but slightly odd lol. I put him next to Vega for a flare up when I cleaned his bowl today, Vega was going all out flaring like a good'un and Kai's just 'oh hi, I'm Kai...' bless him
