I really love the iridescent parts on the body of these fish....
Thanks. I've had the b. cupido for about 14 months now - they coloured up nicely and have developed a lot more orange tint.

My 3/4 inch ram had a small accident:

The male is just under an inch so about 1/2 full size; the female is also rather small maybe 5/9 or 5/8 full grown so pretty young.

n. epesi - one of the nicest species of nannostomus... however they do require special care....

(see the Dicrossus maculatus in the background - i have 6 and so far they are very friendly and quite colourful)

This is a species that seems to form strong pairs and require a relatively large aquarium i think. Even with a 48x16 floor space two pairs would not be possible.
