A few random pictures from the past week or so

Now it's time for your pangio ID. Not quite shelfordiii, but close?

Your sandy plecos? are a mystery. Do tell!

Sure looks like cuneovirgata to me, especially if it's staying smaller than a shelfordii. Look them up and see what you think. I'd be happy if that's what it is; it's one of the all-time coolest fish I've ever kept. :)

Definitely looks like shelfordii to me from the pattern. Not sure of length - none of them are out so i can't measure i also can't find accurate information on shelfordii length but i never had one (my oldest is over 5 years old) that was 3 inches.

Yeah, you're right: shelfordii have the giraffe/patchwork pattern; cuneovirgata are a zipper. Well, shelfordii are pretty cool too. I guess I can accept that.

Some very lazy pictures of my geo aquarium - note the little sterbai in the 2nd picture is over 7 years old but it gives you a size scale of these geophagus:

This is my most over populated 20 long containing more than 40 fishes - see how many you can find:

I have a group of these little tetra called Trochilocharax ornatus for the past 4 months and took some video/pictures. They are mixed in with morse code tetra which i prefer:

and the morse code tetra:

video show why the common name is humming bird:

(video was reduced by 90% and sound removed via ffmpeg - probably over compressed so there is a bit of artifacting)

Your tank water is so blue. And your plants are amazing.
I know but in the end no one likes my aquarium. I guess that's ok at least my fishes are happy.
