A few questions about Firemouths.

We got the shark!! He has just been released in the firemouth's tank and is gotten a bit of his own medicine back but he can hold his own!!!

UPDATE: New fish- 4 tiger barbs, they are absolutely fine, nobody attacks them.
Big firemouth: I know think it is not a firemouth it has no red mouth at all and does not act like the others!

dithers are fish that generally school and show that its okay to come out. x.x they should be fast too or they will be eaten or hurt by the fish you got them for.

You also want to make sure that they are not TOO fast that they can enter the territory of a breeding couple and raid them for their eggs. I read an interesting article on dither fish.....I'll have to find it...

Update: Another 4 tiger barbs (2 green 2 normal)
I can't get a pic of the big guy, he's too fast and I don't know how to put it on this forum anyway!! The firemouths are about 1 to 2 inches long.

thirdly it doesn't need it, gibbiceps grow just under 1 foot and the tank is

they need turning room. how wide is ur tank? you shouldnt keep fish that grow within 4 inches of the width. for example, if you have a tank thats 18 inches wide, you can only have a fish that reaches 14 inches.

The shark actually chases the firemouths, only one (the biggest) retaliates.
